Taking the warm texture of tortoiseshell as the base, the designer blends white’s transparency and brown’s calmness, uniting the three hues seamlessly via the laminated technique to create a layered visual rhythm. The frame features sharp geometric contours: at the end piece, the white section is deliberately notched and carved into a concave texture through precision engraving—like an “artistic fold” torn open in orderly structure, adding three - dimensional layers and dynamic variations to the sharp lines. The temples follow the same laminated design, with notches on their white parts echoing the end piece, creating a cohesive detail - dialogue across the entire frame. From the angular front to the curving sides of the temples, every joint and carving speaks of breaking the boundaries of material possibilities: it preserves the retro charm of tortoiseshell while reconstructing contours and details with modern design language, ultimately becoming a wearable artwork that unites functionality and aesthetics.
